WEBSITE WORK

This is a website I managed for CSW Sport. I was in charge of all aspects of the website as well as working with the website developers in the creation and ongoing support of the website.

www.get-active.info
This website is one I designed and developed for a campaign which was ran by CSW Sport. The site was for a week long sports campaign across Coventry Solihull and Warwickshire to get people active.

www.cswsportsawards.com
The Coventry Solihull and Warwickshire Sportsawards is a prestigious event across the sub region, and is the only awards which covers the area for sport. The event which is in its fifth year is a great success and I was honoured to be asked to design and manage the website. This is probably the biggest website I have designed.

A site I designed for my Sportshall Athletics Team, has fell a bit by the way side and could do with a bit of redevelopment.

This website I designed and developed to coincide with a new Under 11's Athletics League which was being developed across Coventry Solihull and Warwickshire in 2008. The site is used by all teams to access results and fixture information.

COACHING WORK

Central Warwickshire Sportshall Athletics Competition
For the last two years we have delivered the Central Warwickshire Sportshall Athletics Competition. The main competitions being the Year 5 & 6 school sportshall programme. But have also delivered the year 7 & 8 school competitions and helping pilot Key Stage 1 competition.

Elite Performance Day 2009 - SAQ Session
This years CSW Sport Elite Performance Day required an SAQ coach at the last minute, so myself and another colleague whom I work with stepped in. We delivered a high intensity session for groups of six in 45 minutes. Feedback from the day was positive and we have several other requests for work.

Coventry West SSP - Multi Skills & Fundamentals Coaching
After finishing college I undertook some private coaching with the Coventry West SSP. I delivered a number of Multi Skills and FUNdamentals Sessions in schools which included breakfast clubs, lunch time clubs and curriculum sessions. The feedback was positive but worked ceased due to other commitments, however I am trying to re-establish these links.

Community Sports Athletics Coach - CSW Sport
My first paid employment as a Sport Coach was with CSW Sport as a Community Sports Athletics Coach,. This was a contracted role which I held for nearly three years. As my time as a CSAC, I delivered numerous athletics sessions to school. As well as supporting the, County Athletics Squad, Sportshall Athletics Programme, and exit routes for schools, and numerous schools competitions.

Leamington C&AC Head Coach (Junior Section)
As a volunteer I have held the positions as head coach for Leamington C&AC junior section for nearly four years. The role is varied and requires me to manage other coaches, set training programmes manage the Sportshall Athletics Team. as well as coaching myself. I also sit on the Leamington C&AC committee as Club Development Officer. My biggest achievement so far was helping them achieve Clubmark Accreditation.

Gifted And Talented Days - Coventry East SSP & Central Warwickshire SSP
These School Sports Partnerships ran Gifted and Talented days for there elite athletes from within their schools sports partnerships. We went along to the gifted and talented days and delivered sportshall athletics to the talented athlete, and positive feedback was received.

Star Track : Athletics Coaching - Holiday Programmes
For four years I was employed as a coach by a local coaching company and helped deliver athletics coaching athletes aged from 8 to 15. I delivered all athletics disciplines and became one of the senior coaches with in my first three years. The scheme were ran through the holidays all year long.

EVENT WORK

CSW Sport Elite Performance Day 2008 & 2009
As an employee of CSW Sport one of my roles was to help in the preperation and running of the Elite Performance Day. My roles in the lead up to the day included;

• Creating Registers
• Creating Packs
• All IT Aspects before and during the event
• Overseeing changing over of groups

However this year due to a tutor dropping out myself and another colleague had to step in and take the SAQ sessions. The session was high energy with short sharp activities and turned out to be one of most successful sessions of the day.

CAP Launch Reception 2009
As an employee of CSW Sport another one of the events I worked on was the CAP Launch Reception. I had to contact out CAP athletes to invite them to the event, as well as overseeing the VIP list for the event. I had to liaise with partners to ensure that everything was set up and prepared for the day. On the day I lead on the IT as well as registration, which included setting up and packing away.

I also created a program for the event which included details of all athlete whom were on the CAP Scheme, which was all my own design and work.

CSW Sport Club Development Evening 2009
CSW Sport allowed myself the opportunity this year to help support and co-manage the CSW Sport Club Development Evening. The evening which was help at a local rugby club attracted over 60 sports clubs from all over the sub region. The event was a huge success, and my roles were similar to the event above.

Coventry East SSP Sportshall Athletics Competitions
In February 2009 I was employed to help deliver all of the Coventry East SSP Sportshall Athletics Competitions. My role was to lead all of the event and provide knowledge and experience too everyone helping out.

Central Warwickshire SSP Sportshall Athletics Competitions
I have delivered the Central Warwickshire SSP Sportshall Athletics Competitions for the past two years, working with the new Senior Competition Manager last year, A series of coaching sessions were delivered before the events. The year 5 and 6 competitions were well attended but the year 7 and 8 competitions were only supported by two schools. The whole event was a huge success and it looks like we have secured competition for a third year.

Sportshall Athletics Regional & National Competitions
Since the age of 16 I have been working for Sportshall Associates as event staff, delivering Sportshall Athletics Events from school to the national UK Final. I am one of the main scorers and learning more and more about sportshall athletics all the time. I continue to support the Regional and National sportshall athletics events. As well as hoping to do some leadership work for them.
